Troubleshooting Business & Advanced FTP
There are a few problems you may run into when using
FTP. Most are simple in nature and can be solved by
checking a few basic things. |
Unable to
login |
Start with the basics. Double-check your hostname
and username. Retype your password.

Remember usernames and passwords are Case Sensitive.
If the original email you received shows the password
as lowercase, then it needs to be typed in as lowercase.

If that still doesn't help, check your Internet connection
to make sure you are able to access the Internet. If
not, contact your ISP for further help.

If you can connect, are you able to browse webpages?
If not, contact your ISP for further help.

Unable to
view uploaded pages |
Make sure you have uploaded to the "/public" directory.
Anything you wish to see online must be in the "/public"
directory.

If it is in the proper directory, delete your Temporary
Internet Files and refresh your browser.
